Mens Dreaming II

This is the body design for men of the Jungarrayi and Japanardi skin groups. They have an obligation to see that Jakamarra and Jupurrurla men observe strict interpretation of the law during ceremony. The design relates to the Dreaming place, Jarnpukurlangu soak water. The hunter is travelling from Pinakuru to Walangarra where he eventually stops. His travels are depicted as the way lines and the concentric circles are the individual locations. The curved shapes scattered throughout the body paint design are the hunter's killing boomerangs.
