Water Dreaming

Water Dreaming
Water Dreaming
This etching depicts a water Dreaming. The rain (ngapa) story belongs to Nampijinpa and Nangala women and Jampijinpa and Jangala men. The ngapa jukurrpa travelled from east to Mikanji west of Yuendumu. The curvy line represents then gawarra (flood waters) running through the landscape.

This etching is presented in a collectors' folio from Basil Hall Editions.
